Inspection, Testing & Servicing

We inspect, test and service fall arrest systems.  Fall arrest systems must be inspected, tested and serviced at least annually.  This is critical to the ongoing effectiveness of the equipment.  Fall arrest equipment that does not have a valid up-to-date certificate and label must not be used.  Fall Protection Solutions send only experienced and trained technicians with the correct equipment and knowledge to undertake this safety critical work.

Where possible a paper audit of the installed systems will be undertaken first to identify the nature of the system and any product recalls or notices that may be in place.

During the inspection, calibrated specialist devices may be used to test the integrity of the fixings along with visual inspection and assessment of the installation.  Finally the report will include details of the location of the systems and information on the recommended method of use and any limitations of the system.  We can also arrange to inspect your harnesses and working at height PPE whilst on site.
